Betty Brannon, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Betty Brannon was born on October 12, 1949 to Sis Daisy Bell in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Betty received her formal education at Charlotte Mecklenburg School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She furthered her education at 2nd Ward High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Betty accepted Christ at an early age and was united with United House of Prayer for All People where she served as a member.
In her leisure she enjoyed spending time with her son James Brannon who she loved dearly. She also loved her dog Precious, and all of her family and friends. Betty loved taking family trips and being around her sister Henrietta Byrd, but most of all she was know and loved for eating her fried chicken with little Chase.
Betty Brannon departed this life on July 29, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: son; James Brannon, daughter; Teresa Kemp, and her daughter-in-law Letticia Brannon, grandchildren; James Brannon, Jr., Kassandra Walker, Breanna Brannon, Daquan Williand, Zamya Walker, and Qua Qua Carleigh Brannon, sister; Henrietta Byrd; brothers; James Alexander, Phill Alexander, Bobby Alexander, Leroy Byrd, Bryant Byrd and Johnny Byrd, nieces and nephews; Berlean Roary, Shontel Alexander, Nikita Alexander, Temaria Alexander, Lavanda Alexander, Timothy Roary, Chase Alexander, Eugene Alexander, Novell Alexander and Nijay Alexander. A host of other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Boston's-Roseboro's Mortuary & Crematory, 4300 Statesville Rd. Charlotte, NC 28269. The viewing will begin at 1:00 PM. A Graveside service will be held at York Memorial Park 5150 S Tryon St. Charlotte, NC 28217.The Graveside service will begin at 2:30 PM.
