Rebecca Louise Hill, 75, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

Rebecca Louise Harris Hill was born on July 18, 1943, to the union of Excel and Maggie Harris in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ree, as she was affectionately known, received her formal education in the Mecklenburg County School System.  She furthered her education at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC.

Ree accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Ree spent most of her professional career at Bethlehem Center Head Start as a Teacher’s Assistant until her retirement.

On November 12, 1960, Rebecca L. Harris was united in holy matrimony with Joseph E. Hill in York, South Carolina. Their union was blessed with one child, Teresa.

Ree loved to travel. She enjoyed visiting Chicago, Las Vegas, Cherokee and the beach.  She loved make up and jewelry.  Whenever she stepped out the door, she was looking her best.  

Rebecca Louise Harris Hill departed this life on April 16, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Excel & Maggie Harris; granddaughter, Roshunda R. Hill; brothers, Lonnie Harris and JB Harris; sister, Doris Roland; and her beloved furr baby “Precious”.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Teresa Hill– Earl (James); grandchildren, Milton Moore (Victoria) and Termayne Moore, Sr. (December); great-grandchildren, Taleaya Davis, Zareyah Roshunda Tyler, Kaiden Moore, and Termayne Moore, Jr.; brothers, Waddell Harris and Curtis Harris (Rose); sister, Gracie Guy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many special friends.  A special thanks to Terry Fordham, Bernard Spencer, Sam, Sandra Pearce, and Indigo. 

A Celebration of Life service for Ms. Hill will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Boston's Mortuary 4300 Statesville Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269. 

The Hill Family has entrusted her care to Boston's Mortuary.
