October 8, 1945 - May 7, 2018 Norma Castro, 72, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. 

Norma Lee Jones was born October 8, 1945, in Roanoke, VA. She was the only child of Olive Geraldine  Winston Jones. She was also a faithful member of our Lady of Consolation and a Dedicated woman of God.

She was educated in New York city schools and graduated from commerce high school in 1963. With achievements in academics, she was also very successful in her career at the Global accounting firm- KPMG where she was employed for 35 years. This woman of God was a caring/compassionate wife, loving mother and grandmother, she was a committed servant of God, she had a giving heart and was supportive to anyone who needed be. She was diligent toward the things of God and fought the fight of faith until the very end.

Norma had many interest and accomplishments. She was an active member of the “The Jazzy Bridge Club”, Home Owner Association (past president), and Bid Whist card player, she was also a creative all occasion card designer.

Norma leaves to cherish her memory, husband Joseph Castro, son Erik David Shaw, Grandson Erik Daniel Shaw, and many other family and friends. We wish to express our deep gratitude and sincere thanks and appreciation for the  enexpression of love and sympathy so many people the family during this difficult time. May God bless each of you.
