CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA
October 13, 1944 - February 13, 2018
Miguel Angel Santiago, 73 left us on February 13, 2018 with his two sisters Olga and Celeste and two of his three daughters Anna and Doris and his daughter in-law Ivy by his side at the Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC.
Miguel was born October 13, 1944 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico to Maria Dolores Aponte Diaz and Agapito Santiago Quinonez.
He worked for many years as a waiter at the Empire State building he worked for Alana coats as one of their truck drivers, he also worked at Sharon Towers as one of the maintenance crew team.
He enjoyed listening to the Bible on tape he loved being with family and being with his children and grandchildren.
He was a kind good brother, and a great son he spent seven years willingly taking care of his parents until their deaths. He was fun, he was kind, gentle, friendly, very funny and easy-going. Many people didn’t know that he was a black belt in tae kwon-do, but what they did know was that he loved Jesus. He had served as deacon for many years at the Sharon Seventh-Day Adventist Church prior to moving his membership to the Northast Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
He will be missed very much he is survived by his three sisters Yolanda, Celeste and Olga and by his four adult children Anna, Jose, Doris, Aracelis and also by his five stepchildren many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will be loving him forever and forgetting him never.
A public viewing for Mr. Aponte will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 2:00PM - 7:00PM, at Boston's Mortuary, 4300 Statesville Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30PM, Friday, February 16, 2018, at Northeast 7th Day Adventist, 827 Tom Hunter Rd, Charlotte, NC 28213. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM - 12:30PM prior to funeral service.
