Kutana Vanessa Nesbitt, 44, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
Kutana Vanessa Nesbitt was born on April 12, 1973, to Pastor Robert L. Nesbitt and Brenda C. Nesbitt, in Jacksonville, Florida.
She received her formal education at Monroe High School in Monroe, North Carolina.
Kutana accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, in Monroe, North Carolina, at an early age. She was a devoted choir member in the early years.
Kutana was a very loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, who loved her family and friends unconditionally. She loved God and believed in his word. Kutana especially loved her nieces and nephews! They were the children that she never had!
Dancing and singing were two of Kutana’s favorite things to do. She knew how to have a good time! She never met a stranger; no matter where she was, she always made a friend. She was funny and full of laughter. Not only did she enjoy laughing, she also loved to make others laugh. When you saw her, she always had a smile on her face.
Her memories will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind: father, Robert L. Nesbitt (Mary) of Kansas City, MI; mother, Brenda C. Nesbitt (David) of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Carolyn Nesbitt-Knight (Apostle Joey) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Rosie Barrino-Garris (Andre) of Charlotte, NC and Ada M. Robinson (Robert) of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Robert L. Nesbitt, Jr. of West Memphis, AK and Marcus S. Nesbitt (Renee) of Charlotte, NC; nine special nieces, Ziante’, Brentashia, Andreaya, Makala, Makiya, Jessica, Robin, Raven and Rhianna; seven special nephews, Quadarrick, Quartez, Ryan, Jessie, Arsenio, Ravin and Marcus Jr.; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Kutana will be greatly missed! We all loved her, but God loved her more.
