Dickson Nyanfor Savice, 41, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018.

Dickson Nyanfor Savice was born on September 9, 1977, in the Borough of New Kru Town, Bushrod Island, Monrovia, Liberia. 

Dickson and his siblings, with their single mother, lived in the Borough of New Kru Town until the Liberia Civil War.  In 1990, the war forced the family to relocate to Accra, Ghana.  Dickson and some of the family members stayed in Ghana, Buduburam, Refugee Camp until he migrated to the United States in 2004.  Upon his arrival to the States, he lived with this Aunt Pico Savice in Rhode Island for a year and later moved in 2005 so he could live with his older brother Khoury.

Dickson, affectionately called Nyanfor by his siblings, lived with his brother Mr. Khoury for a year and later moved with a roommate Hansford Whoaloe.  Dickson and Hansford remained roommates for sometime until he moved in with his girlfriend Cristle Lewis.

Dickson and Cristle lived together for a number of years before his untimely death.  They were blessed with two beautiful children, Cameron Lewis Savice (6) and Zariya Lewis Savice (4).

Blessed with a multitude of talents, Dickson begin his education at Briduburam Carpentry School.  He learned carpentry and used those talents to build and construct caskets inside and out.  He was also employed by Family Dollar Distribution Center in the shipping and receiving department. 

Dickson was a lover of sports.  He loved soccer and could tell you all about the European Soccer.  He was also a New England Patriots Fan because he lived in Rhode Island before moving to Charlotte, NC.

Dickson would also listen to the news in his freetime, he always wanted to be informed about current events. Dickson had so many great qualities.  He was very intelligent and respectful.  He was never too proud to do anything for anyone.

Dickson was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Savice.

He is survived by his companion, Cristle Lewis; his children, Cameron and Zariya; 6 brothers, Jacob S. Roberts, Emmanuel T. Tarlaray, Brahim Khoury, Oliver Cooper, Dew McCaauley, and Clarke Darpah; two sisters, Jenneh Kromah Daniels and Precious Savice Prempeh.

Several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts in Liberia and the US.

A wake for Mr. Savice will be held on Friday, January 18, 2018, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at Boston's Mortuary 4300 Statesville Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269.

The funeral service for Mr. Savice will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2018, at Plaza United Methodist Church 5600 The Plaza Charlotte, North Carolina 28215.  The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and the funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.  Interment immediately following service at Charlotte Memorial Gardens 7632 Hood Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28215.

The Family have entrusted arrangements to Boston's Mortuary.
