He received a call with an offer he couldn't refuse for an appointment which he will not be returning. Each of us lead a life of special interest and value that is unique and wrapped in our own special gifts. Sagittarius was definitely unique and irreplaceable. I believe if Sag was standing here today his big bright smile would be evident that he is ok. He would want to reassure all of us that the world will go on, somewhat differently because he took that appointment. This moment he knew was always guaranteed and in fact all is well. Sagittarius let it be known when he was alive, that he was the "True Handsome One" among his family. He refused to be a follower and enjoyed having fun here for more than two decades. Sag greatest love was his children. His boys by his side and daughter in his heart. He never gave up on his first love: video games, it was his therapy. He loved to be surrounded by friends family even strangers until the day he took on a new mission and life.
Sagittarius Fred Howie slipped away quietly, suddenly and unexpectedly into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 12, 2018.
When Sagittarius took off for his appointment in the sky he left behind his two sons, Sagittarius Jr. and Ashton Nyzier ;one daughter, Jada Burgess; his fiancée, Ashley McClanahan; his father, Otis Howie Sr. (Tracy) ;his mother, Michelle J. Boyce (Dereck);eight brothers, Otis Jr, Travis Moses, Odis Miller, Mustafa, Robert, Shikeem Sands, Perez and Ashton; nine sisters, Riviera Boyce (Brittne), Carolina, Latifah & Felecia Johnson, Aletha, Rebyah, Shenovia & Alexis Sands and Journey. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Alvina; and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
To simply say Sag put fun back into what was, or a dull school life would be an understatement. We were all so honored to call him son, brother, father, friend, cousin, nephew and uncle for as long as we did. He was wonderful with a gentle soul. He was funny, supportive, talented, and dear. He was selfless, chivalrous and open hearted for he never met a stranger he didn't know or like. To analyze what it is about him that had such a wide appeal among many demographics, was just pure magic. He was giving the gift of life only to give it back so soon. We were the lucky ones and we are so thankful he shared his time here with us. Our Heavenly Father took the best and left our hearts broken. There will forever be a empty space in our lives, just knowing we will never see your face again. We love you forever Sag!
